<p>Phillip Cruz, Ph.D. is a Computational Structural Biologist with Medical Science and Computing, Inc., working on-site in Bethesda, MD at the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). Prior to working at NIAID, he held the position of Applications and Support Scientist at Tripos, Inc. specializing in quantitative structure activity relationship (QSAR) modeling, protein modeling, small molecule design, and molecular dynamics. His educational background includes a B.S. in Chemistry at California State University Fresno, a Ph.D. in Biophysical Chemistry from the University of California, Irvine, and post-doctoral training in Biophysical Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.</p>
