Submissions for COVID-19-related prototypes
See the COVID-19 Supply Chain Response page to find designs, and for additional information. Not all designs will be reviewed, and you may be contacted by an administrator to provide more information.
As of July 24, 2020, the VHA is no longer accepting face shields or ear savers for review, due to the volume of submissions, unless the face shield is a novel design adapted for a specific use. The review process is now focused on 3D-printable nasal swabs, to meet the current demand for COVID-19 diagnostic testing. Information about nasal swabs can be found here.
To share a nasal swab design, please use the Labware & Devices form to submit a design with that category, and select "Clinical Equipment or Adapter" under the "Device Use" field.
