This SARS-CoV-2 virion has been updated from earlier version to include full-length open and closed spikes from https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acs.jpcb.0c04553?goto=supporting-info. PDB 6vsb and 6vxx of the open and closed S protein were downloaded from http://www.charmm-gui.org/?doc=archive&lib=covid19 (versions 1_1_1. In these files, regions of 6VSB and 6VXX which were missing due to technical limitations were filled in using computational methods. This version was used in NIAID's PathogenAR application.
There are several versions of this file:
1) FBX - not 3D Printable. This is a UV mapped version that was used in the PathogenAR application. Each spike is a selectable element whose parameters can be individually modified.
2) Print with Stand*
3) Print without Stand*
*Note that 3D prints will be extremely fragile due to the thin necks on the spike proteins. Take care to print at a size sufficient for your print material to be stable.
4) OpenClosedSpikeColored - These have open spikes in red and closed spikes in pink. Other models have all spikes red.
