Pre- and Postprocessing Instructions
1) Pre processing:
The face shiled visor size is using a transparancy film. Drill three holes about 10mm from the top along the long side of the transpanrancy. The hole diameter is 4mm. One hole is in the center and the other two holes are about 130mm from the center.
2) Typical 3D printer settings:
0.4mm line width, 0.2mm intial layer height, 0.3mm layer height, wall thickness of 0.8mm, top/bottom thickness of 0.9mm and 30% infill with grid pattern. It takes about three and half hours to build.
3) Post processing:
- Along the center hole of the transparancy film to the front center hook of the frame and place the transparancy film on the hook. Insert the clip to fix it.
- Align the left hole to the left peg of the frame and place the transparancy film on the peg. Insert the clip to fix it.
- Align the right hole to the right peg of the frame and place the transparancy film on the peg. Insert the clip to fix it.
- There are 5 pillars on the top of the frame, which can be used to hold foams or cloth which makes it more comfortable to wear.
