Pre- and Postprocessing Instructions
1) Pre processing:
The face shiled visor size is 16" x 10". Drill four holes along the 16" side. The hole center is 3/10" away from the top edge and the diameter is 3/16". The four holes are 1/16" and 4.1" from the left or right edge.
2) Typical 3D printer settings
0.4mm line width, 0.2mm intial layer height, 0.3mm layer height, wall thickness of 0.8mm, top/bottom thickness of 0.9mm and 30% infill with grid pattern. It takes about four and half hours to build.
3) Post processing
- Slide the visor into the slot on one side of the frame.
- Align the 1st hole on the visor to the hole on the slot, insert the peg and put the sleeve on. Insert the clip into the slot to fix the visor in the slot.
- Align the 2nd hole on the visor to the peg on the frame and press the visor in. Insert the sleeve.
- Bend the visor and align the 3rd hole on the visor to the peg on the frame and press the visor in. Insert the sleeve.
- Slide the visor into the slot on the other side of the frame.
- Align the last hole on the visor to the hole on the slot, insert the peg and put the sleeve on. Insert the clip into the slot to fix the visor in the slot.
