Thank you for sharing this.

This is a nice mask. I printed it in pla at .2-layer height and only needed minor adjustments. After printing everything fit together well with the exception of the grommet rings for the side and front filters, I needed to scale them in the X & Y directions by 1mm. I also greased the base of the side vent filter with a light coat or Vaseline and put a bead of hot glue around the outside edge of the grommet after it was pushed through the mask then pressed the filter housing into it and locked the ring. This made a nice airtight seal from the mask to the filter and still allowed it to be disassembled. I also did a similar process when installing the front filter. I cut my filters from a HEPA filter vacuum bag and get such a good seal that my ears start to pop if I breath hard.

Two questions:

  1. Can this be printed on Powder Bed Fusion Nylon? I was planning to use Nylon for it's flexibility and as I understand, can be cleaned to medical standards.
  2. If yes to the above, can a file be provided with all parts put together instead of separate, as with SLS I understand all parts can be printed together without needing assembly.

Thanks for your contribution
