3D Printed Face Shield PPE Personal Protection Equipment Mask

This is a design for a simplified face shield. This assembly can use either an elastic band or a string with a slider bead. the shield can be made from an 8-1/2x11 clear plastic with 3 holes punched by a standard US 3 hole punch. design is meant to print fast and to allow multiple nesting for greater efficiency and cost reduction. We used it for non-clinical use and for the shield we used overhead tranparency and for the string we used shoe lace. As time passes, elastic band, clear plastic etc has been very hard to procure, this allows options to still make a low cost shield for protection. The scale of the 6x nest has been corrected.

most efficient printing with Zortrax was using the large part economy setting, with the finish changed to "normal" basically 10% infill and good surface, with a raft it prints in 1hr20mins, or 6 in 7hr20mins. Print times likely could be reduced further with other printers/settings.
