This model was created for PathogenAR, an augmented reality program being developed by the Biovisualization Program in the Bioinformatics and Computational Biosciences Branch in the Office of Cyber Infrastructure and Computational Biology at NIAID.
Influenza comes in multiple types, with the main ones being Flu A and Flu B. In this cutaway view of an Influenza virion, two surface proteins are highlighted: Hemagglutinin (Red), and Neuraminidase (Yellow). These proteins determine the subtype of Flu A, e.g., H1N1. Other components include M1, M2, nucleoproteins, RNA, RNA Polymerase and various cytosolic proteins.

The "App Version" of the model is included as a .fbx file which is UV mapped and contains each component as a separate model. It is intended for use in Unity or other 3D applications.
The other formats present are also not 3D printable as there will be floating pieces. They may nonetheless be used in other applications, but the components will not be separated as in the .fbx
