The lytic polysaccharide monooxygenase from Serratia marcescens is shown in cartoon representation, colored in spectrum. This was earlier known as CAZy's CBM33 family of proteins and now reclassified as AA10 family, denoting its auxillary activity in breaking polysaccharides. The susbtrate binding side of the enzyme is shown in surface representation, to show the relatively "flat" surface that binds to crystalline polysaccharice. The surface is colored with oxygen atoms in red and nitrogen atoms in blue to crudely show the charge distribution.
