Aluminum Casting of 3D Print

I know it's not "3D printing" per say, but it's still a cool concept to create an aluminum part from a 3D print!  I used aluminum cans as a source of aluminum, and a bit of water in the sand mixture, which turned to steam.  I'm improving my process to remove water and will make a better version soon.

I  initially thought its made of concrete looking at the picture, that'd be cool. I'm surprised its aluminum which is even better. How did you manage to manipulate the material?
